Location: Port Moresby, National Capital, Papua New Guinea
Description
DSV Air & Sea Limited is urgently seeking to recruit a qualified professional for the Customs Compiler role. Applicant must be POM based.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Compile entries for various Imports & Export shipments.
- Ensure importers and exporters meet Customs regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and coordinate customs clearance jobs.
- Arrange Permits and Exemption applications.
- Ensure Duty is paid to Customs within 5 working days after the assessment notice is issued.
- Communicate with Customers/clients on Customs related queries.
- Assist Customs Broker with all related work.
- Job Requirements:
Requirements.
- 2+ years’ work experience in compiling entries and experience in the freight forwarding industry.
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification
- Familiarity with Asycuda World system.
- Must have knowledge, skills and understanding of Customs Tariff & Valuation, and the PNG Customs and quarantine regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines.
- Technologically competent & effective communication skills.
- Be available to start immediately.
