Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

· Collect samples of raw materials, in-process products, and finished beverages for testing. Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological tests to verify quality and safety.

· Monitor the production process to ensure that it adheres to specified quality standards. This includes checking parameters such as pH levels, Brix, carbonation, and packaging integrity.

· Record and maintain accurate data from quality tests, including results and any deviations from standards. Prepare reports summarizing findings and trends.

· Ensure that all products meet regulatory requirements and company specifications, including those related to safety, labeling, and packaging. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) protocols.

· Identify and report any quality issues or deviations from standards to the appropriate personnel.

· Assist in root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions.

· Ensure that all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained according to company procedures. Troubleshoot any equipment issues as they arise.

· Provide training to production staff on quality standards and procedures. Support the production team by offering guidance on quality-related issues.

· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency. Suggest improvements to testing methods, processes, and procedures.

· Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

· Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a quality control role within the food or beverage industry.

· Familiarity with food safety regulations, GMP, HACCP, and quality testing procedures. Understanding of beverage production processes and equipment.

· Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.

· Technical training certificate, diploma or degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.

· Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and work in various environmental conditions (e.g., cold storage, production floor).
