How to Register on PNGJOBSEEK via the Board?
- Visit the website: www.pngjobseek.com on your browser.
- You will need full internet Access to visit the site @ www.pngjobseek.com to complete your registration online and it takes less than 5minutes
- The browser opens up directly to the PNGJOBSEEK Board Home Page once you enter the site from www.pngjobseek.com
- As a new Job Seeker - Select Register at the Top of the Home Screen to register with the board
- The User Group Registration Page appears and you need to select the appropriate user group.
- As a Job Seeker-Select [Job Seeker] as your User Group
- Job Seeker Registration Page appears
- Fill in your Details ensuring that all Boxes with asterisks are completed
- Under Accept terms of use- Click ‘Read terms of use’ and ensure you Read and Understand the Terms and conditions.
- Tick the Box next to Read Terms of use’ to show you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions.
- Click Register at the bottom of the table to Register your details
- You have now Registered as a Job Seeker with PNGJOBSEEK.
- You can now Create your Profile for your new account
How to Register on PNGJOBSEEK via SMS?
- You need to be a Digicel Subscriber to use this service
- You will need sufficient balance to complete your registration. The Charge is 49t.
- Text JOB to 16563.
- You will receive a response from 16563 with your username and password. Eg: Thanks for registering your username is 70860052 your pword is QWerTy. *Reg fee is 0.49t. Add your CV at www.pngjobseek or post/email us your details. Text send cv to 16563 to get post and email details. To get job categories text c to 16562.
- If your number is already registered in the system, you will receive the following message: Thank you for texting www.pngjobseek.com. This 73132016 is already registered with us. To find your password text FINDPW Eg: FINDPW to 16562. If you know the password kindly login with your username (mobile no) and password in www.pngjobseek.com.
- For those with internet access-Kindly log onto our website at www.pngjobseek.com and Sign in with your new Username (mobile#) and Password. You can then create your profile and post a CV on the board.
- Text SENDCV to 16563 for more details
- For those without internet access, kindly send us your CV via our Postal Address.
- Once registered on board you can create your profile and build up your CV on the Job Board. You can then apply for roles on the board via your mobile.

How to create your Profile?
- You need to Register as a Job Seeker with PNGJOBSEEK
- Select My Account at the top of the Home Page
- Click Profile from the menu
- Profile window appears
- Most of your details should have been recorded at the time of Registration.
- Please review and edit where necessary.
- Click Save Profile at the bottom of the page to save your profile.
- You can change your password or edit any details on your Profile
- Once you are happy with your profile go on to Posting your Resume.

How to post your Resume / CV on the Board?
- You need to have Registered as a Job Seeker with PNGJOBSEEK to be able to build and Post your Resume
- Select Post Resumes at the top of the Home Page
- General Information Registration Window appears
- Fill in all the required details ensuring all boxes with asterisks are filled
- Click Next once completed. If a box with asterisks is not filled you will be prompted to complete before moving onto the next table
- Clicking Next button brings up the Education Details
- Fill in all the details ensuring the boxes with the asterisks are completed
- To add another block on, Click Add Button at the bottom of the page
- Once done Select Next to move onto Work Experience table
- Complete the table for your Work Experience details ensuring all the boxes with the asterisks are filled.
- To Add more details onto your Work Experience details-Click Add button at the bottom of the page.
- Preview your Resume for any necessary changes-Click on the Preview button at the bottom of the page
- To edit-Click on the edit button
- Once satisfied-Click Post Button at the bottom of the page
- Your Resume is automatically saved on the Job Board

How to send in your CV to PNGJOBSEEK-Those without Internet access?
- You need to be a Digicel Subscriber to get details on sending in your CV’s to pngjobseek
- Text SENDCV to 16563 for the details
- The charge is 0.49t during the prelaunch period and K1 after 1 May when the board is live
- You will receive email and postal address to send your cv into us at pngjobseek.
- Include your username and password with your cv to ensure we correctly link your cv to your username and password on the board. Once you get your CV you now apply for roles.
- Our Administration team will upload your CV onto the system upon receiving your details
- Your CV will be made available automatically on the board to all Employers with Job Postings that matches your qualifications and work experiences
- Be ready for an interview call soon from a potential Employer

How to Manage your Postings?
- You need to have Registered and Built your Resume with PNGJOBSEEK
- Under My Account at the top of the Home page-Select My Resumes
- Selecting My Resumes brings you to the recent Resume you posted on PNGJOBSEEK Job Board
- Here you are able to do the following with your Resume: View Details/Edit/Deactivate or Delete your resume
- You are also able to view the following: Resume ID number/Status-Active or Not/Number of Views from potential employers/Date posted and the Expiry Date of your Resume
- To do any of the above actions-Simply Click on the respective buttons at the bottom of the table. Eg: To remove your resume, Click on the Delete button at the bottom of the table.
- Remember you are allowed one Resume ONLY on the Job Board therefore you have to review and Update your Resume regularly to ensure it is updated with responsibility or job line changes.

How to Search for Jobs-on the Board?
- You need to be an active Job Seeker with PNGJOBSEEK
- You need full internet access
- To Find Jobs via PNGJOBSEEK website visit: www.pngjobseek.com
- Sign into your Job Seeker Account using your correct Username and Password.
- In the Home Page-Select Find Jobs at the top of the home screen
- The Search Window appears. You can search using Keywords or Search by Company Name by Clicking the Search button at the top right hand corner of the table. Remember that your Search results will depend on your search mechanism and availability of Jobs on the Job Board in your category
- To search by Keyword do the following:
- .Type in a word-closely related to your search in the Keywords Box.
- .Set word matching to ‘Match all Words’
- .Select a Job Category relevant to your search
- .Set your preferred search time frame for the posting
- .Click the Search Button
- To Search by Company-Click the button at the top right hand corner of the search table
- Search table appears with browsing options.
- To search by the company name-Do the following:
- .Type the Name of the company in the box beside ‘Company Name’
- .Add your preferred location
- .Click Search
- .If you are not sure of the correct company name-Simply Click on a letter of the alphabet then type the letter with additional spelling in the ‘Company Name’ to get the available listing under that category
- Clicking Search opens up the Job Search Results window.
- In this window you can do the following to your search: Modify search/Save this search/Save job alert/Save job and save searches. Simply Click on the corresponding button to perform the required action
- If the Job you search is not available on the Job Board or if your search is not matched-You get this message: “There are no postings meeting the criteria you specified”.
- You can modify your search by Clicking Modify Search button.
- If your search is successful, you can directly apply for the job.
- To Save the search or perform any of the actions specified above-simply click on the corresponding button on the Job Search Result table

How to Search for Job via SMS?
- You need to be a Digicel Subscriber to use the service
- You need a balance of 25t or more to perform each Job search SMS commands. Use whichever command is more convenient to you.
- Text DT2 to 16562 to view Jobs posted in the last 2 days
- Text DT7 to get jobs posted in the last 7 days
- Text More1 to 16562 to view more jobs. To get the next sets of jobs text More2 to 16562. Text More3 and so foth to get the next sets in the same category
- Text CA JOB# to view list of jobs available in a Particular category
- Text Find (JOB NAME/#/word) to get listings of jobs. According to search entered could be job title, job category, or Job ID#
- To view the next sets of information in your search simply Text More1 to 16562. To get more information, simply text More2, More3, More4 and so foth to get the next sets of information available in that category
- You can use any of the above Job Search SMS Commands to efficiently do your Job search via your Mobile Phone at the comfort of your home

How to Apply for Jobs via the board ?
- You need to be an active Job Seeker with PNGJOBSEEK
- You need to have a Resume stored on the Job Board
- You need to do a search for the particular Job on the Job Board. Ensure you save the Job or create an alert for the job on your Job Search
- Once you find the Job-Click on the Job Title
- The Job Profile pops up with the Apply Now Button
- Review the Job to ensure the Job Requirements and specifications match your search
- Click Apply Now
- A window pops up for your cover letter and Resume
- Complete your cover letter (optional)
- Upload your Resume
- Then Click Send
- You have successfully applied for your first job

How to Apply for Jobs via SMS?
- You need to be a valid Digicel Subscriber to use this service
- You need to have registered on the board as a Job Seeker
- You need to have a resume on the Job Board
- You need sufficient balance to complete your application via SMS. 25t or more to do a Job Search and to confirm your Job application
- You have to do a Job Search to apply for the correct Job Posting. i.e. know your job category or job# etc. to correctly apply for the Job.
- For those users with Job Alerts on the board you will receive Alerts on specific jobs to apply directly without doing a Job search
- To apply Simply Text APPLY JOB ID# to 16563 when you are ready to apply. There is no charge for this.
- You will receive a Resume Upload Method from the board if you do not have a resume on the board. If you have a resume on the system you can apply for the job.
- Once applied the Board will send you a confirmation message to continue and this is when a fee applies.
- Text YES JOBID# to 16563 to confirm application
- The board will automatically send your Resume to the Job and you will be notified of the 0.49t fee charged
- You have successfully applied for a Job via SMS

How to email jobs to wantoks via the Job Board?
- You need to be an active Job Seeker with PNGJOBSEEK
- You need to do a search for the particular Job on the Job Board. Ensure you save the Job or create an alert for the job
- Once you find the Job-Click on the Job Title
- The Job Profile pops up
- At the top of the Job profile table Select-“Tell a Friend” option
- The recommendation table pops up. Complete the table
- Fill your name and your friend’s name
- Put in your friends email address
- Put in a little comment
- Enter the security Code from the image
- Click reload if you need to try another Code
- Click Send
- You have now emailed a Job to your Wantok via the Job Board

How to create alerts via the board?
- You need to be a registered and Active Job Seeker on the Job Board
- To create Alerts-Select My Account at the top of the Home Page
- Click Job Alerts from the drop down menu
- Job Alerts window appears
- Click on “Add new job alert” button
- Window to Add New Job Alert pops up. Fill in the table
- Put in a name for the alert -Eg: Accounts Job Alerts
- Put in keywords-Eg: Accountant
- Set match word to ‘Match all words’
- Add your preferred Location for the Job
- Select your Job Category
- Click Save
- Your Job Alert is now saved
- You will be Alerted once a job matching your search job is posted

How to set up your notifications on the board?
- You need to be a Registered Job Seeker with PNGJOBSEEK
- Select My Account at the top of the Home Page
- Notifications window pops up
- .Notify on My Account Deletion
- .Notify on Resumes Activation
- .Notify on Resumes Deactivation
- .Notify on Resumes Deletion
- .Notify on Resumes Expiration
- .Remind about Resumes Expiration
- To activate the above options-Simply Tick the box beside the options
- You will be notified via the board for every box you ticked
- You have now set up notification on the board

How to change your password via the Board/SMS?
- To change your password via the board-Simply Select My Account at the top of the Home Page
- Click Profile from the drop down menu
- Your Profile window appears
- In the Password boxes- Type in your New password in the first box and reconfirm in the second box
- Then Click Save Profile button at the bottom of the page
- Now you have to log out and login again with your new password
- To change password via SMS-Simply Text CHPWD (with your NEW PASSWORD) to 16563
- That’s Text CHPWD ******** to 16563
- The new password must be 6 characters or more
- The Fee is K1.00 via SMS to get a new password

How to save a job?
- You need to be Registered with PNGJOBSEEK
- Click Find Jobs at the top of the Home Screen
- Search for the Job
- In the Search result window-Click on the Job Title
- The Job Profile opens up
- Click on ‘Save this job’ option at the top left hand corner of the Job Profile window
- The Job has been saved
