The Board of the Central Provincial Health Authority (CPHA) invites applications from dynamic, experienced, and visionary leaders. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of health service delivery across the Central Province.
The CEO will provide strong executive leadership, ensuring the effective implementation of policies and programs, prudent financial management, and the delivery of accessible, high-quality, and timely healthcare services. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the health and wellbeing of communities throughout the province.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic planning initiatives including a 100 Day plan to pivot CPHA to a strong, vibrant organisation
- Oversee workforce planning and the development of executive teams
- Be a critical thinker to lead and manage change in a complex and resource constrained environment
- Demonstrate effective financial and risk management
- Required to be an effective, influential communicator fostering strong partnerships with key stakeholders within and beyond Central province
- Provide strategic leadership aligned with the Board’s mission and vision
- Oversee the timely submission of Central PHA Annual Reports to the Minister for Health, the Governor, and the Secretary for Health
- Oversee financial management and resource allocation to enhance service delivery
- Ensure effective and efficient management of the Central Provincial Hospital, Health Centres, and Urban Clinics
- Understand the value and risks of medical technology solutions, with knowledge of current trends in applications for data management and operational efficienc
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge in effective systems management for monitoring risk and evaluating performance of all areas of the business
- Promote a progressive and value based culture to lay the foundations for a value driven organization
- Strong and constructive relations with the board ensuring that the organization has strong contemporary governance processes.
