Job Description:

Exciting opportunity to join the Rotarians Against Malaria make a difference; help reduce the impacts of Malaria in our PNG communities. We are seeking highly organized and dedicated individuals to join our team at our Head Office in the nation’s capital, Port Moresby.
 
About the Roles
 
2x Project Officers (LLIN)
 
The Project Officers (LLIN) are responsible for coordinating and implementing malaria related projects; engaging with communities, conducting effective surveys and facilitate distribution of Long-Lasting Insecticide Nets.
 
1x Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (Short Term)
 
The M&E Officer focuses on monitoring and evaluating program activities, ensuring data quality and supporting programme improvements.
 
1x Regional Malaria Coordinator
 
The RM Coordinator is responsible for; visiting provinces on a quarterly basis, supporting the provincial malaria supervisors, ensuring delivery of drugs, and do health facility checks.
 
1x HR Admin Assistant
 
The HR Admin Assistant role involves assisting and supporting HR tasks, ensuring efficiency in HR Administration operations.

Job Requirements:



Qualification, Knowledge & Experience
 
  • Must have tertiary qualifications.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working in an NGO environment in Papua New Guinea.
  • Proven experience in teamwork, with a demonstrated awareness of cross-cultural dynamics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a keen sense of when to seek assistance or share knowledge for the benefit of the team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to be flexible in demanding situations.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and a strong aptitude for rapid learning.
  • A team player who thrives in a multicultural environment, communicates readily, and shares knowledge with colleagues and partners.
  • Ability to cope with high-demand situations and stress.
  • High level of integrity and accountability.
