Infinte Wood Builders Ltd (IWB) is a Papua New Guinea registered company and has steadily grown due to demand generated from the quality of our jobs in the projects we have been involved in.  With the increased demand, IWB has ventured into fully fledged Building and Construction and so far have successfully completed a number of projects including Maintenance and Renovations.

Infinite Wood Builders Limited is seeking to recruit qualified and experienced candidate, to fill the role of 1 x Certified Carpenter.
 
This position call for immediate start and are Kavieng based.
 
1 x TRADE CARPENTER (Kavieng based)
Job Requirements:



Qualified trade carpenter urgently needed for our Kavieng branch, must be experienced, skilled and able to complete task within given time frame. 
 
Job Requirement
 
To be successful in this role, you will;
 
  • Have a trade qualification in carpentry
  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a journey-level carpenter
  • Additional certification may be required
  • Good communication skills
  • Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
  • Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
  • Basic experience in plumbing, tiling, painting and concrete laying.
  • Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
  • Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
  • Physical strength requires in lifting/handling of materials.
  • Have mechanical skills in operating and maintaining a variety of tools
 
Candidate must have more than 3 years working experience as a carpenter or related field and able to complete projects within given timeframe.
