Job Description:: Standards & Compliance Manager - Maritime

P&O Maritime Services are seeking an energetic and highly motivated expert in ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 with a thorough working knowledge of ISM, Flag, Class, SOLAS, IMO and MLC 2006 compliance to join our team based in Motukea Island.

Job Requirements:: To apply and be successful in this role, you must have:

Unlimited Chief Engineer or Master Certificate of Competency with substantial experience in shore-based fleet management
Experience of at least 3 -5 years in the management of small bulk carriers and oil tankers or equivalent fleet, including areas of technical, human resources, industrial, budget development and control, operations, and compliance
Demonstrated knowledge of Quality and Safety Management systems, particularly those related to the shipping industry (ISM).
ISM Auditor accreditation (ISM/ISO/ISPS Auditor preferred)
Demonstrated experience in developing and managing planned maintenance systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications
Well-developed leadership and management skills
High level analytical and problem-solving skills
High level communication and interpersonal skills including report writing
Effective time management and organisational skills
Able to work under pressure and respond to changing work demands
Positive can do attitude and excellent attendance record are essential.
