Job Description:
Customs Compiler
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customs Compiler to support our Customs Division and help ensure the smooth flow of operations in the logistics department. In this role, you will coordinate with internal teams and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and maintain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the Customs Division to manage Customs runs and related requirements.
Assist and liaise with the POM, LAE branch and other centers to fulfill clearance requirements.
Ensure daily updates of shipment reports to maintain accurate records.
Help maintain high customer service levels and ensure client satisfaction.
Work towards meeting KPI targets, specifically to ensure NIL storage tolerance for Dry and Reefer shipments.
Ensure the timely flow of operational documents and processes.
Support the Customs Broker to address queries or regulatory issues to ensure quick resolution and compliance.
Provide assistance for other business-related requirements as needed.
Job Requirements:
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related role within the logistics or customs field.
Formal training in Customs Compilation (Certifications Required).
Proficiency in Asycuda World (including queries, form 15, MRN/FF).
Strong computer literacy with excellent software knowledge.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven time management and organizational skills.
Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
In-depth understanding of regulatory processes in the Freight Forwarding and logistics industry in Papua New Guinea.
