NCSL, the largest Savings and Loan Society in PNG with over 150,000 members, is currently undergoing an exciting digital transformative journey to further enhance its service to Members.
To strengthen our Leadership Team and be able to lead from the front and be part of this transformative journey, we are inviting applicants for the following position.
Head of Information & Communication Technology (ICT)
The successful applicant will be required to effectively;
- Set objectives, strategies and budgets for the ICT function and translate into operational policies and plans, ensuring these are successfully implemented and embedded,
- Oversee the procurement of all ICT infrastructure for Head Office and Branches, and ensuring purchases meet requirements fully and are cost effective relative to such requirements,
- Work cohesively and effectively with Managed Services Partner(s) delivering core banking and other services through cloud services,
- Ensuring that Key Performance Metrics are established and maintained for all service providers with particular emphasis on critical systems,
- Manage relationships with third party vendors and service providers and other stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet business needs and evolve in line with business requirements,
- Review, manage and mitigate technology risks with special emphasis on cybersecurity risks and ensuring all ICT related policies and practices remain applicable, making changes as and when necessary,
- Develop and implement the NCSL ICT planning to the long-range strategic vision as determined by the Board, CEO and Management,
- Maintain project management governance by establishing frameworks for robust project management e.g. methodologies and processes, tools and templates,
- Planning and prioritization of initiatives based on strategic objectives, cost/benefit analysis, timing and capacity,
- Coach, mentor and lead ICT team members to motivate and develop them in achieving project objectives,
- Establish and maintain relationships with Bank of PNG, internal and external auditors and other stakeholders towards meeting all compliance standards and delivering expected outcomes including procedural changes and documentation,
- Undertake other duties as directed by the GM Operations and Chief Executive Officer.
