Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to optimize space utilization and workflow
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Ensure accuracy in inventory management through regular audits and cycle counts
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate product movement and optimize order fulfillment
- Implement safety and security procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other external partners
- Analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Stay informed about industry trends and innovations in warehouse management
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance for management review.
- Monitoring stock movements in the warehouse.
- Supervising the packaging of outgoing stock.
- Supervising the unloading of containers by both permanent and casual staff to ensure the task is performed safely, and with no damage to stock.
