The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Compliance, Business, Law, or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications or certifications in Risk and Compliance (e.g., CRM, FRM) would be an advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a senior Risk & Compliance role, preferably within the financial services or superannuation sectors.
- Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear, strategic advice to senior management and the board.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in risk management software and tools, as well as MS Office applications.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of regulatory changes.
