WNBPHA CS 001 | Director Corporate Services – Grade 18 | The Director of Corporate Services plays a pivotal role in overseeing the Corporate Governance functions at WNBPHA. This encompasses comprehensive management of budgets, financial reporting, procurement, human resources, and various administrative tasks. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Corporate Services is entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the efficient function of these critical services, which support patient care within the organization. He or She must possess a Masters Degree in Business Management and a Degree in Accountancy. Additionally, a substantial 5-10 years of experience in the health sector is a prerequisite. The successful applicant should demonstrate sound knowledge in key areas, including the Public Service Finance (Management) Act 1995, health systems and policies, reform initiatives, and expertise in managing change and conflict resolution. Furthermore, an excellent understanding of financial systems is imperative to excel in this position. These qualifications and experiences are essential to meet the dynamic challenges of effectively directing the Corporate Governance functions and contributing to the overall success of WNBPHA. WNBPHA CS 050 | Deputy Director Corporate Services- Human Resources – Grade 16 | The Deputy Director of Human Resources is accountable to the Director of Corporate Services for effective and efficient coordination of Human Resource functions of WNBPHA. The incumbent will be expected to provide strategic advice to the CEO, Senior Executive Management team and Managers of the WNBPHA on all matters related to Human Resource Management and Organizational Development. The incumbent must be able to demonstrate Leadership and management of HR functions and services, Embedding HR framework to support PHA operations, Workforce Planning, Recruitment and Selection, Personnel, Payroll & Organizational Services, Learning and Development, Performance Management, Employee/Industrial Relations, Mobilization/ Demobilization/Exit Processes & Procedures, Employment Contracts, Remuneration and Benefits and Occupational Health, Safety and Security. Must be well-versed will all Human Resource functions must be able to demonstrate leadership and is knowledgeable in all public sector policies. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management. He or She must be able to demonstrate experience in various human resource functions and must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in HR in private or public Sector. WNBPHA CH 133 | Manager Nursing Services – Provincial Hospital – Grade 15 | The Nursing Manager is accountable to the Deputy Director of Nursing Services for the effective and efficient delivery of Professional and specialist Nursing care and services at Kimbe Provincial Hospital. He or she is responsible for the overall delivery of Nursing services in the Provincial Hospital and ensuring the quality of care is implemented in line with the NHSS to achieve PHA’s vision of quality health care for all in WNBP. The successful applicant must possess a Diploma or Degree in General Nursing with additional qualification in Administration, or any other Post Graduate qualifications in Administration or in Nursing Profession. He or She must have a minimum of 5 years or more in the Managerial field, especially in the Nursing profession and must be registered with the PNG Nursing Council. WNBPHA CH 134 | Manager Nursing – District Hospital – Grade 15 | The Manager Nursing, District Hospital is accountable to the Deputy Director Of Nursing Services for the effective and efficient delivery of Professional and specialist Nursing care and services at District Hospitals. He or she is responsible for the overall delivery of Nursing Services in the rural health facilities and ensuring that the quality of care is implemented in line with the National Health Service Standards. The successful applicant must possess a Diploma or Degree in General Nursing with additional qualification in Administration, or any other Post Graduate qualifications in Administration or Nursing Profession. He or She must have a minimum of 5 years or more in the Managerial field, especially in the Nursing profession, and must be registered with the PNG Nursing Council. WNBPHA EX 011 | Internal Auditor – Grade 15 | This position is accountable to the Chief Executive Officer for the effective execution of Internal Audit functions for WNBPHA. The incumbent will be required to provide the organization with guidance on financial accuracy, internal controls and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate must be a critical thinker with a keen interest in improving the organization’s internal control structure and has remarkable presentation and report writing skills. The successful applicant must possess a Degree in Internal Auditing. Financial Accounting or Financial Management are essential with a minimum of 3-5 years field experience as an Auditor in the Private or Public Sector. Experience in fraud auditing is an advantage. WNBPHA PI 006 | Project Manager – Grade 14 | The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in the West New Britain Provincial Health Authority, being accountable for the efficient and timely execution of project duties within the province. Reporting directly to the Director of Planning, Information, and Infrastructures, this position holds significance as a technical and middle management role. The incumbent is responsible for all project activities in the province inline to the National Health Standards. Must have a sound understanding of essential building codes and regulations, coupled with familiarity with Project Management, Planning and Evaluation and Public Service General Orders, is crucial. The Project Manager is tasked with the vital role of managing projects effectively, ensuring compliance, and meeting project deadlines.
