Job Description:
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and eager to embrace new challenges? We're looking for dedicated and qualified individuals to join our team as a Nurse. In this role, you'll play a vital part in implementing health and safety protocols and delivering first aid when necessary.
 
CPL Group is seeking applications from self-motivated, energetic, customer focused and passionate individuals to apply for the position of Nurse. Reporting to the City Pharmacy Pharmacist/Manager, the Nurse is responsible for helping with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments, and consultations. They know there is no single solution when it comes to patient care.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Administer first aid for minor injuries and illnesses to customers and employees.
  • Perform blood pressure checks, blood glucose tests, and temperature measurements.
  • Offer insights and recommendations based on screening results.
  • Promote health and wellness initiatives.
  • Support customers with their health concerns through informed advice.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and administer first aid.
  • Coordinate with emergency medical services when necessary.
  • Explain proper usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions of medications to customers.
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring health and safety protocols within the retail store.
  • Maintain accurate medical records of health screenings, first aid interventions, and customer interactions.
  • Engage with customers compassionately and professionally, addressing their health-related inquiries.
  • Organize health and wellness workshops for employees and customers to promote health education.
  • Work with the shop supervisor and management to ensure a safe and healthy retail environment.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
  • Diploma in Nursing or equivalent. Valid nursing license/registration for practice.
  • 2-3 years of nursing experience, ideally in retail or healthcare settings.
  • Strong clinical skills in first aid and emergency response.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiar with health and safety regulations.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and committed to patient well-being.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Additional certifications in first aid or health screenings.
  • Experience in health education workshops.
