ICT Coordinator 


The PNG-Australia Transport Sector Program (TSSP) is a critical, high-priority Australian investment that stands to make a major contribution to PNG development outcomes. 

Working closely with the Government of PNG (GoPNG), TSSP3 will build on the signature body of achievements lessons, and relationships from the past 17 years of operation and will continue to contribute to the achievement of the overarching goal of: 'A more effective, efficient, and inclusive transport systems, enabling the economic and social development of PNG. 

About the Role 

The ICT Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and secure operation of IT systems across multiple TSSP3 locations, including the Bougainville Program Management Office (BPMO), Department of Work and Highways ( DoWH), Department of Transport (DoT), Harbourside West Level 1 (HSWL1), and short-short Advisers (STA) or working from home. The Role includes managing IT fractures, overseeing data security, and providing technical support to staff. The ICT Coordinator has a proactive role in maintaining and enhancing the IT infrastructure, while also providing support and leadership across the multiple across locations of TSSP3 operations. 

Responsibilities 
  • Ensure server, connections, equipment, and software are regularly maintained. 
  • Oversee the data backup systems and manage appropriate register updates. 
  • Ensure activities software is installed, updated, and functioning across all systems.
  • Ensure compliance with DT Global Safeguarding and GEDSI Policies as well as compliance with the Papua New Guinea registration around digital content and how it is accessed and used using DT Global-issued assets and equipment. 
Job Requirements:


Key Competencies 
 
  • Minimum qualifications of a Diploma in IT Systems Administration or Network Administration with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in IT Support Level 1 (L1) and/or level 2 (L2). 
  • Has experience using Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Sharepoint will be an advantage
