CUSTOMS BROKER– Lae Branch
Location: Lae, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea
We currently have a vacancy for a Customs Broker to join our DSV Lae Team. Applicant must be Lae-based.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Liaising with customs authorities
- Executing customs entries monitoring regulatory updates and ensuring compliance of customs applications within the latest regulations.
- Classifying goods for customs declaration
- Calculating customs duties and taxes
- Prepare and process import/export documents and other forms on behalf of clients according to customs regulations, laws, and procedures.
- Provide advice on export and import restrictions, tariff systems, letters of credit, insurance requirements, and other custom-related matters.
- Sign import/export documents on behalf of a client, using power of attorney.
- Build and nurture relationships with clients.
