VACANCY NOTICE – SENIOR ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR
The position is full time with a three-month probation period. Upon successful completion of the probation period the employee will have the opportunity to become full-time employee.
About the Role:
The Senior Electrical Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all electrical aspects of projects within our organization. This position requires a seasoned professional with deep technical knowledge and leadership skills to ensure the successful execution of electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. The role involves coordinating with project managers, engineers, and technicians to guarantee adherence to safety protocols, timelines, and quality standards. The Senior Electrical Supervisor will also be responsible for providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment and report directly to the General Manager.
The responsibilities of the role:
- Supervision and Leadership: Lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and compliance with industry regulations, conducting regular inspections and audits.
- Inventory and Budget Management: Monitor inventory levels of parts and equipment, optimizing stock levels to support efficient operations. Assist in budget planning and control for maintenance activities.
- Ensuring compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Conducting inspections and quality control checks to uphold high standards of workmanship.
- Collaborating with other departments and external contractors to achieve project objectives.
- Providing technical guidance and support to resolve complex electrical issues.
- Reporting project progress and addressing any deviations from plans promptly.
