VACANCY NOTICE – REFRIGERATION AND AIR-CONDITIONING SUPERVISOR
The position is full time with a three-month probation period. Upon successful completion of the probation period the employee will have the opportunity to become full-time employee.
About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Supervisor to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective maintenance, repair, and installation of refrigeration and air conditioning systems across our facilities. The Supervisor will lead a team of technicians, oversee daily operations, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations and report directly to the General Manager.
The responsibilities of the role:
- Supervision and Leadership: Lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Installation and Commissioning: Manage the installation and commissioning of new systems, ensuring they meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and compliance with industry regulations, conducting regular inspections and audits.
- Inventory and Budget Management: Monitor inventory levels of parts and equipment, optimizing stock levels to support efficient operations. Assist in budget planning and control for maintenance activities.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Prepare reports and documentation as required by management.
- Customer Relations: Liaise with internal stakeholders and external contractors to coordinate work schedules and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and quality of service delivery.
