About us
The National Gaming Control Board (NGCB) is governed by the Gaming Control Act (2007) and other relevant acts.
We strive to ensure that the gaming industry in Papua New Guinea (PNG) contributes to the greatest extent possible to the long-term economic and social development of our country.
As a regulatory body, we set the gaming regulatory framework, grant licenses and monitor the industry, to name a few.
We recently developed our first ever five year corporate plan, endorsed by our Board and the Prime Minister and Minister responsible for NGCB.
We have now also developed our first ever strategic plan for 2014-2017. This overarching document sets our direction and guides us in implementing our strategic agenda.
