Senior Human Resources (HR) & Administration Officer


Our client, a PNG Investment Company is expanding operations and due to this growth, they now seek a suitable Senior HR & Administration Officer to join their team, based at their Port Moresby Office.

The Senior HR and Admin Officer will be providing support in the delivery of the Human Resources and Administration functions, ensuring smooth operation of the business and compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.

Key responsibilities:
 
  • Ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Human Resources function.
  • Provide sound and accurate advice to Management and employees on all matters relating to HR.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records including documentation relating to employment contracts, staff training, job reviews, discipline, and other confidential files.
  • Ensure the Performance Management process is effectively conducted, including the development and implementation of employee training and development programs.
  • Effectively handle employee relations issues.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Oversee benefits administration and payroll processing.
  • Assist with the oversight of office operations including management of office supplies and equipment.
  • Provide administrative support to the Company’s Management and Board.
Job Requirements:




Requirements:
 
  • Diploma or Bachelor & degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management Studies or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in human resources and administration.
  • Relevant experience in payroll management would be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
