STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
 
  • Structural engineer with 2 to 10 years structural design experience
  • Based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea (PNG)

FSA Consulting Engineers Pty Ltd is a well-recognized and highly respected engineering services provider with a solid clientele and a current substantial forward order book. This is a full-time and exclusive position (40 hours per week) with flexible start and finish times, preferably working late or starting early providing some overlap with our Brisbane, Philippines, South Africa, and Portugal offices.

The prime focus of this position will be the design of permanent and
temporary works ranging from access platforms, marine access structures, gantries, bridges, and marine structures such as dolphins, wharves, pontoons, docks, dry docks, and retaining walls.
 
Job Requirements:


The successful candidate will have:
 
  • A minimum of2 to 10 years structural design experience preferably in marine infrastructure.
  • Have a high level of English verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • To be self-motivated and self-reliant (due to working across differing time zones).
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a smaller team.
  • Tekla TEDDS for Word proficiency would be a highly valued skill (as it is the main software to be used in this role).
  • Prokon proficiency is highly valued.
  • Revit proficiency is highly valued.
  • Australian codes are beneficial but not mandatory.
